So this ass-wipe is actually trying to say that he, in normal mode, healthy and well, is just as feeble as a woman who is going to give birth soon or has just given birth?

If he's such a feeble little child, let his mom take care of him until he decides to become a grown-up like the rest of us, and takes care of his own utensils. In my household there reigns the motto: unless that person is sick, whoever dealt it cleans up after it. When I bake and make a dozen bowls and utensils dirty, I clean them right up immediately after.

Another motto we have: whoever has the time and isn't sick, takes care of general chores. So if my parents are tired and can't stand on their feet for long (both have chronic illnesses), I take care of the vacuuming for them. However, preferably, everybody takes part in general chores. We don't do the gardening individually, we all three work in the garden, doing different chores.

And a third motto: if somebody is sick, everybody else does everything they can for that person, and never holds it against them. My dad would never ever hold any time my mother was sick or pregnant against her. Nor would I hold their sicknesses against them. That's what it means to be a real family. You're TOGETHER, not AGAINST each other.

But this couple's relationship sounds like they're in a perpetual battle with each other. Frightening. A healthy relationship should be like two battle-buddies taking on the world together, not fighting head-on against each other!
