I'm 36 and have been seeing a 21 year old girl for a few months now. She's hinted at being exclusive and I am considering it.

I said this in another comment the other day: "Promotions are earned, not given".

Forget the age gap that you are worried about here... The bigger question here is why does she deserve to be promoted from a woman you are dating to someone that you are in a relationship with. A few months is way too short of a timeline to promote a woman to LTR status. Are you spinning plates? How many women have you been dating that makes this one the "best" out of the bunch? You have more questions here to answer for yourself compared to worrying about the age gap.

Her AGE, is the biggest problem.

BEFORE you do stupid shit, read “The Ultimate Younger Woman Manual,” by Blackdragon, (Caleb Jones).

And talk to a Family Law attorney in your area if she is going to spend more than 3 nights a week at your place.

My youngest sugarbaby is 41 years younger than me. Talking to an attorney first cost me $150 and saved me, maybe everything.

u/business---travel makes the best point here. Set her age aside and ask why she deserves a promotion? What work has been putting in to demonstrate worthiness? Right now you have a resume in front of you that looks great on paper, and she's nailed the interview, but what about demonstrated skills?

I've dated all spectrums of age range. In the end? There's a reason we say they are the oldest teenager in the house. All women will resort to being bratty teenagers if you don't handle your shit correctly.

If you like dating a 21 year old go for it. If this works out, great. LTR her, just remember the moment she stops working for it, she gets demoted and never promoted again.

Don't fuck it up by being a super available dude and treating her like your wife.
