So I'm over weight and 31. I've struggled with dating ever since an ex from ten years ago did something really traumatic to me. I know this is just deflating my own question but I've had hundreds of guys (according to tinder and bumble) show interest but no one usually flirts with me in the real world and I assume I'm lonely because of my weight and the typical fact that guys now a days only want stick thin super models.

My question to you other ladies is do you genuinely think it's my weight that's putting them off (I'm 220 lbs right now but I've been quickly losing weight over the past year since I was diagnosed with diabetes back in January. I also started working out last month so I'm trying. My goal is 150. Thick but not fat)? If it truly is (please be brutally honest. I'm even willing to post pics and copy my bio if itll help) then what are some things I can do to appear more attractive (I do wear make up and dress for my body) or are there ways I can manipulate men into finding me more attractive/wanting to date me? It doesnt help ive been celibate for two years and its frustrating as all hell. Any help is welcome!
