I was having a discussion with a friend who has been living with her LVM for a year now. She’s a well paid model, pays the rent, supports him, etc. I haven’t talked to her the past year but she called me because he left after a rampage which I guess happens often. He tells her really mean things like how he’s wasting his youth with her and doesn’t love her but she’s convinced he’ll change. He just texted her again and apologised about the kind of person he is and said he doesn’t want to be that way and said he’s coming back home and I feel so sad for her I don’t even know what to say to her because of the excuses made for him.

How can I be a good friend in this situation?
