I was banned permanently and I'm not sure why. It's possible it was because I said that there is so many off-topic posts on that subreddit that I find it hard to block all the users who do that. It's also possible that it was because I said that sarcasm is a woman's weapon and it made the man I was talking to less manly in my opinion because he was unable to be direct. The rules of r/MGTOW are non-descript and I never received a response to my inquiry as to why I was banned.

I participated on r/MGTOW for over a year and had many popular (and I thought, helpful) posts and comments there. I thought about creating an alt like others to get around it but it doesn't seem worth it. While I am still subscribed, I am not interested in many posts there. The mods have curated an endless pro-trump, anti-woman, random male rally. While I rarely want to engage with users there, I do want to post there on occasion. However, I want to honor the subreddit ban and Reddit policy on bans. I believe the mods would probably regret banning me over time since I so rarely complain about moderation or mention how I don't like the posts or content I see from a moderation perspective, and also since I am a proud and developing MGTOWer. However, I guess I just don't care enough about my participation on that subreddit to go around the ban and pay a price for their decision.

As far as I'm concerned, if they want an endless and ridiculous half off-topic rally that's filled with toxic users who create alts to circumvent their bans and will likely get their subreddit removed, they can have it. I can still read the subreddit, so it's not like I'm losing anything. They are losing me and whether they care or not is on them.

I was banned there. Getting a little tired of rehashing it, but briefly, I said something that went against the prevailing "women all bad, men all good" narrative, and so I was booted. I asked for an explanation but got no response. I wasn't particularly impressed with the quality of content there -- lots of anger, lots of memes, lots of dumb, simplistic statements -- so I wasn't upset to be banned. It was a good thing. This subreddit is a lot healthier.

Made it to the end of /r/MGTOW before the sub was shut down. Went MOW around 2016 so there was a lot of content on YouTube back then before the original ad apocalypse. By 2020 I had done what TFM had said happens to a lot of guys... They learn all they can and move on. They don't stop being MGTOW but they stop contributing to the conversation and are happy on there own.

In the above thread, everyone lambasted Greta Thunberg calling her a “climate goblin” and making other baseless ad hominem attacks. I made the counterpoint that Greta is right in that

Pollution and climate change are real problems.
The younger generations have to pay the price for these problems.
The politicians who come from older generations are responsible for creating these problems.
Enough is enough. We have to stop trashing the Earth. The costs and the risks are too damn high.

And because acknowledging climate change is forbidden in right wing circles, I was immediately banned from r/mgtow without any justification. The mods refuse to even respond to my single reply to the ban, which was a simple, “Why was I banned?”.

I don’t have a problem with a right-wing circle jerk. If the mods want such a sub, then fine. However, they should be honest that they are not a mgtow sub anymore but rather a right-wing politics sub, and they should not be tarnishing the reputation of mgtow.

Unfortunately, these charlatans have the r/mgtow URL. Since every crappy journalist thinks that research is simply reading the Wikipedia page and subReddit for an acronym, their bad behavior gets associated with all of mgtow rather than their right-wing, intolerant, and quite frankly, hateful version of it.

Worst still, any boy or man first hearing about mgtow will see their content first and be immediately repulsed by it. Such a person would inevitably conclude that mgtow and incel are the same thing. By using the r/mgtow namespace, they are hurting mgtow discussion and acceptance. Hell, their community even got quarantined when so many other mgtow subs have not. Seeing a sub with the r/mgtow namespace quarantined does not leave a good impression on people being introduced to mgtow. This would not be the case if their namespace was r/rightwingmgtow or something like that. But they do have the acronym itself as far as reddit is concerned, so it gets view, however unrightfully, and the authoritarian source for mgtow.

I have to wonder if this trend isn’t largely caused by r/mgtow. Every post they make that cartoonishly labels all women as the pigshit is an example that the mainstream media can point to and say “Look, mgtow men are a bunch of incel losers who hate women because they can’t get laid.” How is that at all helpful for exploring mgtow ideas or exchanging advice? As long as r/mgtow continues this behavior, the rest of us will have to deal with the fallout because of simple guilt by association.

Of course, not everyone posting to r/mgtow is guilty of this. However, the mods systematically remove anyone who doesn’t fully embrace every batshit crazy idea that comes from the political right. Well, 80% of the population of the western world does not accept the batshit that comes from either the left or the right. Both extremes are fringe groups that look like idiots to the vast majority of people. So as time goes on, r/mgtow just becomes more and more rightwing because normal people are kicked out.

Maybe it’s time for the rest of the mgtow community to call a spade a space, and just denounce that sub as completely unrepresentative of mgtow or common sense lest all of mgtow fall with them.

I noticed that I was was banned almost immediately after I made a series of posts calling out incels and tradcons who were muddying up the waters of discussion. I was trying to make it clear that MGTOW as a philosophy of life and therefore it is non-political it itself. I said that men who go their own way come from all points in the political spectrum because this is an international phenomena. There are MGTOW who are Liberal and there are others who are conservative, some are atheist, some are Christian, Buddhist, or Hindu. Hell, I've even started to come across some MGTOW who are Muslim which goes to show how this phenomena is exploding across the world and at this rate and momentum it is becoming much bigger and deeper than merely our abandonment of women and walking away from gynocentrism. A lot of Men are becoming MGTOW for whole other reasons which means the phenomena is now evolving beyond women. But anyway, I digress

I called out a series of posts where incels were attempting to push their nihilistic views unto MGTOW (Their Black Pill philosophy) and pretending like we (Red Pillers) are in the same league and on the same boat as them. I pointed out that our world views are radically different and that MGTOW is NOT related to incels.

I also pointed out that while the media has been smearing MGTOW as some sort of Alt-Right white supremacist movement I made another series of posts arguing against this and debunking such notions. MGTOW makes fun of TradCons as many often call them "TradCucks." I mentioned that I am not white and I am not in favor of Right Wing politics and that is when apparently the camel's back gave out, I was booted.

Now if anyone loves a good conspiracy theory I have heard from other guys that apparently it's Reddit itself that is randomly banning members of MGTOW in order to undermine the sub. They appear to be banning anyone who posts often or who becomes popular. By reading all the comments here I see no rhyme or reason why so many are getting banned, it appears random and the only ones who have that power would be employees of Reddit itself. Why would they be doing this? I guess to just disrupt the subreddit and scatter us. Take this with a pinch of salt as it is just rumor and, like I said, it's just a conspiracy theory.

My Thoughts about this Subreddit...

Hey guys. I am not a mod, or a person with authority on this sub, just a humble new MGTOW after realizing the gynocentric laws, and danger that rogue women possess towards my future career. I have come across really wonderful material on this sub, and many success stories of men focusing their lives on their goals and making it big. I have also adopted some key concepts like the Pence rule, which I found really ingenious, and which also exposed the hypocrisy of the Left for me, because this was his personal decision and these people had no business criticizing him for his choices.

However, I have been noticing a recent trend on this and other manosphere related subs of focusing almost entirely on women and female nature, at a time when we are all going our own way. Now, I despise the female nature as much as any guy, and I have myself experienced how stressful and infuriating it is to not be free and yourself when you are around women.

I have never been in a relationship, but I am the sole heir to a family full of single women, and I have had to behave according to their whims to make sure I got basic education and supplies since childhood. This was because my father passed away in my early childhood, and I have been miserable since. All my life, I had just one dream, of being a free man, free of expectations, free to fulfill my desires and work with people who appreciate me for what I am and have achieved.

I embraced the Red-Pill community as my salvation, and I found like-minded men here, who share my thoughts, and have known and/or suffered at the hands of female authority. I have also adopted a lot of positive things from this sub, like self-care, fitness, career-oriented approach, focusing less on distractions and devoting yourself to your goals. I would like if we considered making this community less focused on women, because we are giving them what they want, and that is attention. We should focus more on ourselves and our happiness. Posting about our career milestones, inspiring success stories, effective fitness regimes, and general advice from older men to the younger generation like me. This what we should try to make this sub about, in my opinion.

Remember guys, we never recruit, we don't red-pill men, women do. And when they come here to seek refuge, we should welcome them, guide their directionless boats to the rightful way, and help them become a better version of themselves. If we make this sub more purposeful, we can erase the label of "cult" put on our community. We can help all those directionless young boys hungry of female attention into robust and confident leaders of tomorrow. Let's do it.

Again, this is just my opinion, and feel free to disagree, but we need to give more purpose to this sub than just being an "incel" hub.

Got banned for commenting on a post of a someone asking about how he could be on that sub and still love his daughter. I commented saying your opinion of your child should change based off of a subreddit. Asked the moderator what i said was bad then asked him about the rules saying no hugboxing and didn’t get a response.

I’m about to get banned because I just pointed out that the op on a thread is a beta cuck that is unable to have a healthy relationship with female colleagues and establish boundaries.

His post is him gloating as if he’s some highly desirable alpha male working a retail job while he’s going to real estate agent classes and all the women there want to talk to him to suck him dry of resources he probably does not even have.

All I said was what’s wrong with having a friendly relationship with your female colleagues since it sounded like he was acting weird at work and i got downvoted to shit so I spoke my mind and anticipate a ban.

Maybe I do not understand the mgtow but I feel going your own way doesn’t mean you have to be a sociopath and you can still establish boundaries like a normal person.
