Okay, so this theory (hypothesis?) is only 5 mins old and I am typing very furiously to get this out before I forget.

So think about every time you have asked a girl what kind of guy shes looking for. I would bet she'd say a variation of something like "nice", "charming", or "smart".

These are all pretty universal qualities women look for in men besides looks which we all know is bullshit given a high SMV.

Now lets look at the man talking to the girl over at the bar. What is he doing? Maybe making side-jabs at her looks, personality, or remarks. He teases her and probably likes to cross that line a lot just to get that mildly shocked laughter. A beta would see this behavior and wonder how in the hell she is eating it up. I mean, can't she see he's being a total dick?

But, let's look at how a girl would look at this situation.

The guy makes side-jabbing remarks. He probably cracks a joke. I don't know -- something like "You know I'd take you home RIGHT now if I didn't think you'd break your leg before we got to the car with those heels." But those remarks are never said with an unenthusiastic complexion -- the face signifies that it was merely a joke. Then the girl laughs, right? Do this enough, and she'll take a liking to you.

From a girl's perspective you have demonstrated being "charming", "smart", and "nice"".

You were "smart" because you have demonstrated sarcasm. Idiots don't understand sarcasm.

You were "charming" because you actually formulated a sentence without stuttering and stammering trying to vomit the words out. Literally, this is all that's needed to be "charming" in a woman's eyes -- imagine how many betas shes been used to tolerating while they stammer through "h-h-hello, c-c-can i b-b-buy you a d-d-drink"

But how was he being nice??? How in the hell can a woman think he's possibly a nice guy?!

Well, lets look at her environment. She's been validated a lot. So much so that compliments have been the default response from so many people.

But lets look at her closest group of friends. I mean a group of girls that have been REALLY GREAT friends. You'll notice they have no inhibitions of calling themselves and each others sluts and bitches (i.e. "OMG I LOVE THESE BITCHES SOOO MUCH. BESTIE SLUTS 4EVER!!!). And how do they talk to the girl they hate the most? They hide their hate and continue to talk nicely about the girl -- even going so far as complimenting that girl when in her presence -- more validation falling on deaf ears. So when a man validates a woman, he's doing the same exact thing one woman would do to another woman she despises not one who TRULY cares about her.

So when a man cracks a joke teasing the girl, he is demonstrating a sense of affability -- in the girl's mind. That's the treatment she is used to from her closest friends. It is behavior that is reflective of people who care for her. Her friends call her slut and bitch to her face -- her enemy validates her and goes on, not revealing her intentions or feelings, calling her a bitch behind her back (sound like a beta?).

I'd love to hear your thoughts on this highly-speculative and cursory hypothesis based on my experiences.
