That ad just bothers me because it paints all the issues as a male-centric problem when it's just a people problem. Women just approach each of the issues depicted differently, and, in my opinion, using more insidious methods.

Bullying: Women bully other girls more often than men bully other men; however, while male bullies tend to be unpopular, work alone, and use physical force, female bullies are popular, work in groups, and use social means like rumors
Sexual Misconduct: Men are attracted to a lot of women; women are not attracted to most men. So this issue is more or less an issue of availability, but, if you're a handsome man or know handsome men, you'll know firsthand just how disgusting women can be regarding sexual boundaries and how awful they can be about having "lockroom" talks with the girls. If you're in a relationship, women are more likely to share stories of your private intimacy.
Mansplaining: Women are more likely to support censoring speech than men. There are numerous issues, like abortion and women's rights, where men are told to shut up. The same is not true for men's issues. Men will actually let them speak, though they might not listen/care.

Basically, razor blades don't start feeling dull because they are dull, but because they are covered in microscopic hair and debris. This is a rubber surface you can stroke it across and remove that debris. Makes the blades last much, much longer.

I THINK my razor was made by Gillette, but I bought it used and I think it was manufactured in the 1950's. I use a standard safety razor with replaceable blades. I ordered a pack of 100 standard German-made blades and they've lasted me a few years so far.

For shaving cream, I use Barbasol.

I really don't like the disposable nature of modern razors.

Further more, all products by their parent company (Proctor & Gamble) is permanently banned from my home. It's a pain really, because I used a lot of their products in the past, but my principles is worth more to me than my convenience.

I spend 20 years using Mach 3. I only tried 1 other blade in that time and it too was Gillette.
after that ad, I switched to a DE safety razor. I'm still not as comfortable with it as I was with the Mach 3 but I'll be damned if I give them any more money after that insult.

I’ve been happy with dollar shave club since day one. It’s the only razor on the market that doesn’t cut my skin when I shave and causes the least irritation I’ve ever seen from a razor.

i don't buy razors for a looong time. electric machines are waaaay easier to use. and cheaper on long turn( and better for the environment too).

Problem is it gives Gillette free advertising and any advertising good or bad creates brand recognition and increases market share prices positively and that is why Gillette has been laughing all the way to the bank since that advertisement.

I mean, the ad was unnecessary. I do like their products tho so I'm not gonna be like "never using Gillette again" or anything like that. I literally had to look for it tho since I've never seen or heard of it up until now.

Gillette made a poor choice. Which I hope was misguided. Honestly though like many people and organizations in my life I’m willing to forgive and move on if they make amends. As of now I don’t use Gillette simply because there are other products that keep their poor opinions of men to themselves or simply don’t have them.

In all seriousness, the ad is not only a year old, but has little to do with men's issues/rights. If anything, it should spark some self reflection. Instead of getting triggered and getting your collective boxers in a bunch, think about what the underling message is. It is not an attack on men. But highlighting issues that men should face head on.

Men's rights is not just about fighting against perceived injustices and for equality, but also facing our own demons, acknowledging them, and doing something about them.

Find me a razor that works as well as the Gillette Mach 3 Turbo and I will switch. However, I am 53 and in all my years, this is literally the only razor that works on my face, without issue.

Edit: Welp, I see people are willing to downvote / judge but over no credible alternative. Oh well, you guys keep doing you..... (Do not care about the downvotes, just the contrast I made to them.)
