This just shows what a backward, man hating country the UK is. Most civilised countries changed their sexual offenses laws decades ago to remove the gendered wording of sexual violence.

For example, in Australia rape has been removed from the criminal code in all states and replaced with "sexual assault" which includes penetration of males or females and oral sex.

How long will it take for the UK to grow out of this fantacy that women can not be sexual predators or commit criminal acts of sexual violence? Who knows....

I remember being in middle school, 6th grade maybe, and my sex ed teacher[f] was talking about rape and consent. One male student asked if men could be raped. She replied "no, a man get an erection without being into it" (something to that effect). That isn't something to teach young boys. In theory, anyone can get raped/sexually assaulted by anyone.

I was down voted for coming forth about being sexually abused by a female while very young. I asked if it was ok to cut her boobs off.

This was a response to a post about a female cutting off a man's penis for raping her. This may have been humor/starcasm however it was posted in instantkarma. So I was under the assumption it was grounded in reality.

I find it interesting that when females come forth about abuse, it taken more seriously.

I actually felt weird for a few days after posting about the abuse that happened to me and my brother. It brought up some feelings that I thought where dealt with. I got other things on the plate and now this was swirling in the head.

Then, I had the unfortunate experience of meeting my mother during a meeting. Great.

I had a rough few days after that. Man that woman is crazy. The damage that was done to my brothers and sisters is massive. Lost my sister to drugs. My brother a recluse. In my own case, I struggle and have horrible interactions with women who like me. Go figure.

I realized that reddit is not about free speech, it is more about free viewpoints. And if you have a viewpoint that is against the wave, it's going to get sunk.

Possibly by a small majority that does not represent the whole.
