My take on this: whether it's control over women's bodies, the sexualisation of women, the gender pay gap, harassment walking home at night, domestic homicide, or child marriage, it's clear that male privilege is an essential building block of most societies.

Male privilege? No. Male corpses? Yes.

Gender pay gap = female privilege. Women work less hours and spend 80 percent more than they earn. The other stuff also affects males.

That said, rigid norms which enforce a gender binary or toxic masculinities can, of course, harm men and boys as well, and many feminists work tirelessly to address these forms and impacts of oppression too

lol.

MRAs and their supporters insisted that the international conference on men’s issues our reporter attended was diverse.

The photo that appeared in her own article showed quite a mixture of races and almost equal representation of the sexes.

Another deleted comment said: “Why do you hate baby males, Lara? Baby males are innocent and weak, baby males can't beat you, Lara.”

That's one of their examples of violent hate speech that they felt was a credible threat to the author.

I think I remember this hit piece about the MRA conference somewhat, this is typical operating procedure for these journalists. They knowingly lie about somebody and when the rest of the public call them out on it they play the victim and claim people are harassing them.

And as a woman of colour, I’d also remark that if you notice two black men working in service jobs at a conference, this is not a sign of diversity, but more likely, a rather hierarchical system of labour.

So on top of being a total sexist, this moron is a racist as well, when it's purely these type of people covering these events then it's no wonder people have this impression of MRAs.

Notice as well how she's sticking to her safe space on twitter, she wouldn't dare show up on a place like Reddit unless the event was heavily choreographed.

This pisses me off the most because it's the line that feminists most often use currently to discredit MRAs because nothing else is working. If anybody here reading my post is brand new, this is something they do frequently. They equate any kind of criticism against women or simply pointing out that women can do bad things towards men feminist activists ( because that's what she is ) like this woman claim it's abusive or 'anti-women'.

That's their favourite line, claiming discussion about women being abusing is 'anti-women' don't fucking fall for it, this is anti-male propaganda, nothing more. It doesn't even have to be about MRAs, just merely talking about women being abusive and violent towards men is forbidden in her head, fuck her.

I'm actually getting to the point where I refuse to call these click-bait propagandists journalists now, even when they actually show up at the event they might as well have not even been there at all with how they 'report' on it.

Yet, the over 100 comments on this article, among many others on social media, suggest a different story – that MRAs and their supporters are the ones feeling threatened, by feminism and gains in women’s rights.

Feminism is a cancer on the Left. They are a reactionary hate movement that's paid billions of dollars by the imperialist government to divide the working class against itself.

Back in the 1920s the KKK presented itself as a progressive movement and had many connections with feminism of the day. But the Klan didn't get paid billions of dollars and get endorsed by presidents (endorsed by some governors, yes).

This was on r/shitredditsays and I got banned because I made a connection that 3rd wave feminists are just female Incels. What I said was "

Some people in this movement make it too easy to criticize us on format rather than content, and it is effective.
