Once you've achieved your threshold for intercourse output there isn't much reason to change yourself other than for the sake of doing it.

Many of the men in today's western world (myself included) were raised under bluepill feminist ideology. Essentially we were not raised to be men. This leads to a cornucopia of issues that permeates into not only one's personal life, but society itself.

Sex is the #1 drive for men to achieve. We are hard wired for it and that's the way it is. Achieving that goal is the quickest way to satisfaction for most males. However, sex in and of itself is an instinctual pursuit, and does not contain all of the necessary building blocks for a fulfilling life.

The goal in sharing all of this information is to apply principles to leading successful, fulfilling lives. Sometimes that requires change. You cannot build a castle on shifting sand. Nor can you build a happy life by repeating the choices that have lead an unhappy one.

Redpill can for some be very much about changing the self. For others it's an ideological shift. At the end of the day the goal is to be happy, and see the world for what it is.

a huge part of the red pill is to stop letting girlfriends/desire for sex/wives become the main focus of your life.

I haven't changed anything about my hobbies to get laid. if anything, RP gives me good reasons NOT to, even when a girl is whining and moaning about, say, my passion for woodworking.

nothing changed when i found TRP, it was nothing new for me. I've been getting laid, been treating women the same, been observing social dynamics. this for me is just a place to read interesting stuff, throw my 2cents in, and have a forum with like-minded individuals. genuinely curious if anybody else is like me, cos a lot dudes do seem desperate/oblivious

It seems that over time that trp's focus has shifted a bit. Originally it was a tactic to getting laid. Over time it's shifted to, improve yourself and make yourself the best "you" that you can be. Once you begin this process of improving yourself, certain elements naturally follow.

Realizing that you can be confident. You can speak your mind. You don't have to take a back seat to anyone. Women are not something to be put on a pedestal. They have just as many faults as anyone else, and they do NOT deserve anything beyond what they've earned.

We live in a feminine society, but we can maintain a masculine frame and there's nothing wrong with that. Think logically. Define boundaries. Respect ourselves enough to maintain relationships that contribute to our own personal happiness and have the internal discipline to take responsibility and fix our issues or severe the bad.

Living in this manner seems to increase personal happiness and it has a nice benefit of showing traits that seem to be attractive to women.

The frame of mind that women should want to have sex with me because I am valuable rather than the I'll be nice to them in hopes that they'll like me back enough to sleep with me. Should be a pleasurable and equitable trade off, and you don't have to be a doormat to obtain it.

Really when you think of it that way... trp is not disgusting or misogynistic at all. Improve yourself. Be confident in yourself. Treat women like normal people and not princesses. Earn what you get and don't hand things out.

One epiphany I had was I would absolutely still do all this stuff even if it was conclusively proven not to help you get laid. Learning to assert yourself, be happy on your own terms and freely share what you really want with others is a huge change from the locked down, perpetually frightened beta male mindset I used to have.

But putting that aside, does it really surprise you when in the blue pill world people are encouraged to work their entire lives for the chance of sex? Don't you have married friends who tell you stories of how long it's been since they had sex? Aren't you painfully aware of how different your situation is from most? Shouldn't you know better than most how important it is to have knowledge that frees you from being weighed down by the sisyphean standards of mainstream culture?

the African then realized that there was no way that the American could ever understand the struggles he faces everyday and decided then and there that he would humor the American politely, but would continue on living his life as he saw fit. he would make every effort to get enough clean water to not only satisfy his basic needs but also enough so as to be happy, western society be damned.

Your post makes a bad assumption. The core of TRP isn't to change yourself in an effort to get laid. TRP isn't about women, it's about men. It's about becoming a better man. A physically fit, professionally successful, socially apt, confident, powerful man, who absolutely does not prioritize women or make getting laid his #1 objective. Because that's where "normal" guys go wrong to begin with: putting women on a pedestal and making sex and relationships their goal.

If you make self-improvement and becoming a person actually worth a shit your goal, to the point where you have your own things going on and don't really need women around, and could take or leave them -- then as a pleasant side effect, women will actually find you significantly more attractive than the chumps who chase them and make sex and relationships their priority.

But if you really boil things down, just about everything men do is a "sexual strategy." Civilization was darn near built by men trying to impress women and propagate their genes.

The sex part is more of a reference point for significant sex: personal quality men have a lot of sex, therefor, if I'm able to easily start getting sex, or increase it's frequency, my value as a man must be going up. Many guys here aren't really what you'd consider jocks that are in high demand, so just getting laid every few weeks is a huge boost to their self worth. When they can prove that women now demand them, they must be improving!

I think its part of a more broad profound self improvement, its also important to develop your own spiritual side however you interpret that. You stand out if there is some depth to you. Its also useful to learn how to treat those in power, this extends to the workplace and politics. Learning social skills is just as important for other areas of life.

This is all just a foundation though, the rest, finding your happiness is your cross to bear. There's never any reason to succumb to nihilism.

this is like asking a starving person whats the big deal with wanting food all the time.

sex is a basic need. men get validation when they gain access to sex.

if you developed an effective strategy to satisfy your libido, you likely have not been unsatisfied for some time now. especially now that you are married with a woman who has a higher drive than you. you may not even know or remember what its like to be one of the many guys who came here thinking they were doing everything right, and getting nothing for it.

there is also the possibility that your testosterone levels are diminished and along with that goes your libido. its actually very common.

sex is a big deal in the way that food is a big deal. when youre starving, its all you think about. when youre full, you dont even want to hear about it. you want to have high quality meals from the best restaurants as often as possible, but a lot of times you will settle for a sandwich. if you have access to decent food whenever you want, it ceases to be a big deal. when you are just now figuring out how and where to get it, its really fascinating.

in short, i think you are downplaying the importance of sex on human happiness.

For a few years after that I was having sex with a few new girls a week (interspersed with some longer term relationships), eventually I could get anyone I wanted and just got bored of sex. Once I had honed my strategy it just got too easy and I became bored with the whole thing.

I haven't. In fact, I have focused more effort into my hobbies and career. I've been more selfish and assertive about what I want and been more successful. I'm far less likely to put up with subpar behavior or people as a result. As a result I've been more successful with less effort. As far as change what I read, I derive pleasure from reading the TRP.

I personally focus more on improving myself. TRP helps me deal with situations with women and reminds me that they don't deserve special attention for having a pussy. TRP has lowered my desire to get laid if anything.
