I'm certainly not defending a DUI but this is heart breaking seeing someone that may have been celebrating too much not be able to enjoy a special day. They need to be held responsible, but it just stinks that this happened. Poor decision making

That's just horrible. I hope I'm not alone on this sub when I say that if I had a friend or even a work colleague I didn't like that I heard was driving themselves to their own wedding I wouldn't hesitate to volunteer to be their driver. It's no wonder she had a few drinks. If I were the police officer I wouldn't have it in me to arrest her although I would drive her to her wedding - in the back seat as it always should have been.
