This clip shows how wide the empathy gap is. I've only been reading into men's issues for less than a year, but this was one of my biggest motivators. It still enrages me, and it tears me up that Lorena Bobbit (who was acquitted of crime of malicious wounding by reason of insanity) founded a nonprofit organisation in 2008 to help battered women and children who are victims of domestic abuse.

It's this one sided blindness hypocrisy that is scary.

"A man should never hit a woman" VS cutting off a man's penis is empowering.

Two extremes... and women find this funny and empowering?

This shows how women are incapable of feeling any empathy for men.

Whereas a man hitting a woman, men come to her rescue.

Then society says it's men who are violent and women are angelic?

Studio audience usually has TV screen telling them to get up, clap etc. The producer always give them a pump up speech with directions on how to behave.

This is a manufactured reaction, but even that it would be manufactured is horrible. And of course the audience still has to go along with it.
