In what universe are women incarcerated twice as often as men? The Department of Justice's "Prisoners in 2013" has data from 2003-1013 showing the female prison population remaining under 150,000 over the 11 year period, while the male population was no lower than 1,300,000. If you want to twist words to fool people and suit your politics, you should have said the <i>rate of incarceration</i> for women is increasing faster than that of men (2.3% vs 0.1%). Stop lying.

While there are in fact 200,000 female prisoners in America, there are close to 2.1 million male prisoners. So, you were clearly off a few decimal places when you began to do the math for this article. But that always is the problem with lying on the internet isn’t it? You’re just a quick google search from being exposed…

It sure would be nice if these women's groups would protest every time a female teacher gets a mere slap on the wrist for having sex with one of her underage male students. According to BJS, the female incarceration rate has increased by 1% annually from 2003-2012, with the male rate increasing by 0.7% annually. If we give NOW the benefit of the doubt and go with the male rate increasing by 0.5% instead, we would end up with a 50:50 gender split in jails/prisons in the year... 2533. The working would be impossible to show in a comment, but can be done in Excel without too much trouble.

Edit: If on the other hand we aren't so charitable and use the BJS figure for men instead, we won't have parity until 2880. Although the projected prison population at that point would be over 1.2 billion so you'd better get cracking building those prisons :P

I don't know about you, but I think this study doesn't take into account what crimes were committed. There's also something around here ITT that says they kept changing the statistics.

What these schools fail to see is that these students need care, counseling, and education.They need counselors who will listen to them, and educators who prioritize education instead of discipline.

The U.S. has already been doing all of that for DECADES. We've wasted close to a TRILLION dollars trying to educate, house, clothe, feed, care for, rehabilitate, counsel blacks- ALL of it and NONE OF IT WORKS. For fifty years!

And what is the typical young black female response? "Aw, Fuck dat shit, motha fucka." And all they want to do is start having sex at 12, think school is idiotic and laugh at it and call it a 'white' thing and laugh at white people. I'm done trying to help people who don't WANT our help and then in return say fuck you, ambush marines in racial hat crimes like at McDonald's the other day- that's just one of one quarter of a million black on white assaults every year in the U.S. Then murder, rape, rob, vandalize everything in sight. When in the FUCK are we going to wake up? We've already been doing EXACTLY what this article says we need to do AND IT'S CLEARLY NOT WORKING.

In fact, blacks aren't assimilating, they're pulling the rest of society down with them into misery, poverty and dysfunction.
