Walking to my car after class. At the time my college had a shitty dirt parking lot with terrible drainage. This chick who I had been seeing texted me and asked me to give her a ride. She was the type of girl who always dressed to the nines in all situations, mostly because she was 5'1" and always wanted to wear heals to look taller.

Long story short, it had just rained hard and there was a giant puddle we had to cross to get to my truck, there was no way to get around it since my truck was in the middle of the damn thing. I threw my backpack in one hand and told her to put her arms around my neck, then I grabbed her ass and lifted her up like she was nothing (I think she barely weighed 90 lbs) and walked through the puddle.

I've learned through the years that some girls aren't impressed with shows of strength while others get off on it. She was definitely in the latter group.

Oh, I didn't see that. I'm not thinking about self-defense anyway. Sure people will ideally defend themselves at the time, but what if they don't? Maybe the surprise is too much and by the time it occurs to them to do something about it, it's over. That is, the action is over, but its effects may not be. When someone has done something like this and suffered no immediate consequences (and it's not considered okay to retaliate after the fact) will they think they'll be able to get away with it again? What does it teach people when they attack others, the victim doesn't defend themselves for whatever reason, and then they never get any comeuppance after the fact? Should they find out what it's like for themselves and so develop some empathy?

I think that humans think pretty highly of ourselves but honestly the animal instinct is very strong. What gets rewarded gets reinforced. What gets penalized is diminished.

Any experience you have with a child will show this to you I think. I don't have a kid myself but I have a nephew. I personally don't think my sister has disciplined him in the proper way and it has led to some real serious behavioral problems.

It actually really upsets me when the blame gets placed on him as if it's his fault. He's just a "difficult child". No. It's not his fault! He is simply doing what works best for him and if being really difficult will lead to ice cream he'll be difficult. If being an asshole got me ice cream I think I'd be an asshole all the time!

At any rate going back to women I think that they largely live in a bubble where they have to choose to be a good person as opposed to men who must be good people or they'll get their ass kicked.

So yeah, I think conditioning is king. Don't want people to behave a certain way? Make them pay for acting that way.

Nope. Feminists constantly claim that they are for equality, but if you ask them specific questions about men having rights you'll very quickly discover this is a lie. It's a recruiting tool, and straight up North Korea style propaganda.

They use a lot of other tactics that should raise red flags for anyone who can think; such as the overuse of vague words with either multiple meanings, or no real meaning at all. When a feminist starts shrieking about the patriarchy, for instance, her notion of what that means is very different from the ideas rattling around the empty heads of the feminists around her; yet they'll still shout an amen because they tend to think they're on the same page.

To analogize: if i told you it was 2 o'clock, one of your first thoughts, if you care enough to think critically about it, is to wonder which time zone i'm in. We set a frame of reference, that way we're talking about the same thing. Feminists intentionally use words like 'society' and 'patriarchy' specifically because they lack a solid definition.

Feminism is just misandrist rhetoric built upon a foundation of lies.

It started rolling around in my head for first time in years, as I was reading this sad tale of a man wrestling with his gut reaction to his girlfriend’s actions during a 'break’. I imagined her cheerfully singing this tune to her man as she skips off to find an enticing stick to snack upon. I imagined her continuing to sing, reaching ‘break me off a piece of that’ as she gives bedroom eyes to the tingle-inducing guy about to benefit from her new-found freedom. And I imagined her continuing her cheerful little song with eyes rolled ‘gimme a break’ when confronted with her boyfriend’s rightfully negative reaction to her fling.

The story itself is nothing new. Guy meets girl, girl gets bored, girl needs to Find Herself™ but, doesn’t want to remove the hook and throw back her sure catch. So she does the completely reasonable, socially acceptable thing and asks for a ‘break’ in their relationship. It isn’t until this ‘break’ is over that the guy discovers they had completely different concepts of what this ‘break’ entailed.

Likely, he didn’t get into specifics and assumed she was operating on the common narrative that a ‘break’ was for each party to have time apart, be introspective about their relationship and, without the immediate pressure of the others presence, come to conclusion as to whether the relationship should move forward. He had no way of knowing that this tactic was meant to allow her hypergamy an opportunity to run wild without fearing consequences.

There are some minor rays of hope but, the community response is, overwhelmingly, attempting to help him come to terms with his insecurity and other ‘issues’ so that he can fall back into his ‘loving relationship’. Not a single person questions if her actions were appropriate. The common tropes trotted out include ‘She came back to(chose) YOU’ and ‘sex is not the same as love’ or the ever popular ‘it's her life and she's free to do whatever she likes’. Even more disheartening is how well programmed this man is. Despite the massive amount of dissonance his brain is throwing at him, he strives to reassure everyone that this is obviously his issue that he needs help getting over.

Yeah, full of rational adults. Give me a fucking break dude.

Red pillers are major white knights and panderers to female sexuality. According to red pill philosophy, it is men who should change themselves in order to appeal to women, hardly ever the other way around.

The typical red piller is a bloke who is desperate for female attention to a point where they'd happy give up their true personality to become a borderline psychopath in order to appeal to women at all costs. It's an incredibly desperate lifestyle and only women win when a man goes red pill because that is how yet another rat enters the dating rat race, ready to spend his time and resources on women thinking he is somehow 'dominating' her. Red pill is what allows hypergamy to run rampant by not challenging women and demanding equality.

I see no difference between 'nice guys' and red pillers: both seek to attract women at the cost of their actual personality.

Wow... You really created your own reality for this one.

According to your version of red pill philosophy. Here is the actual philosophy, men and women alike should be constantly changing themselves through improvement. It I not to appeal to women but to be the best version of yourself for yourself. The entire idea of the 'taking the red pill' is realizing you shouldn't put up with just any woman. You shouldn't base your life around pleasing them. Attracting women just comes with becoming confident and bettering yourself. It's not the end goal.

You're right though, typically women don't gain such a sens of self awareness. But you can check out /r/redpillwomen to see some that are and do.

Nice blanketed statement 'typical redpiller', a person who has yet to take the pill is desperate for female attention. Hence the red pill, to realize that there is more to life. Future personality? What are you taking about. Every time you go to sleep you wake up a different person. Your personality should always be changing if you're growing, and if it is for positive pursuits then what is the problem?

At all costs? You are mental. There is nothing desperate about bettering yourself and changing yourself.

Red pill men barely ever date.

He is taught not to waste time or energy on any unwarranted reasons. We don't dominate, we lead.

Read no more Mr nice guy. Most of the lessons from the book are mirrored in the red pill.

This is your own idealised version of the subreddit which is completely at odds with what the red pill is in reality. Sure it sounds lofty when described as continuous self-improvement, but in reality the vast majority of people there are centred almost exclusively around using that so-called self-improvement to attain women, instead of truly seeking to better themselves for the sake of themselves. Just have a look at the subreddit description -- 'Discussion of sexual strategy'. I'm all for self-improvement, but this isn't it. Red pill philosophy is entirely centred around becoming attractive to women above everything else.

I imagine the average person attracted to TRP is some below average in looks and confidence bloke who idolises women to a great extent but is at the same time frustrated at his apparent lack of success and so he turns to TRP, thinking he's finally found his solution. And then he proceeds to shape his personality according to the tenets of TRP, all because he wants to appeal to women so damn much he doesn't even mind losing his own authenticity along the way. This is really the ultimate form of being a white knight.

I welcome the idea that men should be informed that there is more to life than women. But this should come with the freedom to live your life as you see fit, not altering your personality in ways that just happen to suit female sexuality. Men need to realise that they deserve an equal as a partner, not someone who thinks that the man should provide for them. Which is pretty much all that redpillwomen is about, women who are happy to live an easy and carefree life through the income of some hapless chap who thinks he's 'leading'. And of course they would be; you're being lead and exploited and you don't even realise it.
