Hey all, I'm writing to today to hopefully gain a bit of insight on how to reframe my emotions regarding child support.

I truly understand sheer amount of trauma that most guys in here have received from their ex's and from the courts regarding this issue and so, who to better to come to for advice.

I'm paying just south of 1k per month for my kids, of who I have 50/50 custody of, for them to love with my ex's affair partner.

It's been a few years of absolute horrific abuse from her and sending her money in return, for that treatment, seems a little more than unfair.

There's likely nothing I can I about the amount, so what do I do about my feelings about it? Every month it feels like I'm ripping off a small bandaid to only have to rip off a giant one during the yearly recalculation because my income has gone up and hers down.

Do you guys reframe this a certain way? Is there some silver lining I'm not grasping here?
