I became a therapist is because I wanted a flexible schedule and to be there when my kids got out of school.

My Ex unfortunately does not have the same Flexibility and needs childcare on the days she has the kids.

She tells me that childcare is a flat fee and can't be broken down. Meaning that if it's only being used on her days, she still has to pay the full price.

As a result she is stating that I need to be paying half the childcare afterschool expenses even though I don't need then on my day. Without the discounted rate, it's $455 a month. I suspect she is getting a discounted rate though

Do you think I need to contribute to childcare costs even though I don't need them on my days?
