I'm sure this has been discussed a lot on here, but I value the feedback from this community. After 12 years of being with the same person, and married for 3 of those.. dating is weird. It feels like I got in a time machine and am unsure of what I really want. I've advertised myself as dating/casual with the possibility of something more serious.

I have tinder and bumble active and have had some matches. I've went on two dates so far, both of which the women gave me their numbers and would like to have a follow up date..

I don't really know what I want, does that make sense? I think I may still be comparing them to my ex which is unfair, but I'm also clear that I'm okay with casual and not really looking to be serious to begin with.

The first date I went on we talked a lot about emotional intelligence, and we grabbed food and talked for about 2 hours. Towards the end of the date she mentioned that I was unsure of what I wanted and if I wanted to explain that more. She was very understanding of my mindset and I appreciated that.

The second date I felt more physical attraction to (this one was a tinder date), and we talked again for about 2 hours. Her and I both were mutual in our messages prior to the date that we weren't looking for serious but open to it..

My question is this.. and I generally am a pretty straightforward person but how do you all navigate purely physical attraction interactions? Like how do you work up to it/ask? I'm sure there's literature I can read, and really I feel like I can ask most questions but when it comes to sex I almost invalidate myself if that makes sense?

I've made both my dates laugh really hard, make eye, ask good questions, and feel like I have chemistry.

I'm 32, 186lbs, run about 6 miles every other day and am very active 5' 9".

I've listened to NMMNG several times and feel pretty confident about myself and am working on cutting p*rn out completely.

Anyway if you have read this far and provide feedback thank you!
