I'm about a month or so from finally moving out of the family home and the thing that's got me stressed the most as a dad is being the less social parent.

My kids are 13(f) and 10(m). More often than not parents would usually coordinate things with my ex, whether it's a playdate, sleepover, party. My ex is naturally good with other parents because she's a teacher and talks to parents everyday. Some of my kid's friends were even students of hers so she knew the parents through teaching. I'm not antisocial but definitely awkward. I'm in I.T. (need I say more) so I don't deal with a lot of people.

My biggest post divorce fears are failing as a dad. They're all I care about. When I'm at one of their sporting events and I see parents that are all buddy-buddy and I don't even know who they are I feel like a loser. I know I just have to put myself out there but I've been quietly dealing with my own feelings through the divorce before even getting to the parent parts, it's just A LOT.
