My wife left last August after I found put she had been cheating on me Our divorce was final this August. This whole journey has been the worst thing I've ever had to endure.

I'm trying to rebuild. Tonight, I went to a restaurant with a group of people. The hour or so I was there I sat across from a wonderful woman and talked to her all night long. When I got home I sent her a text saying I had fun talking to her all night. I got one back saying "Same."

It's not love. I don't even know if I'll get another chance to do it again. Still, for one evening, I got to have a great time with a new woman who wasn't my ex wife. It seems like she enjoyed being with me, too.

Its good to have little glimmers of hope like this. It makes me think I just might be OK one day.
