While engaged i sold my house and bought a new house the nextday. The money from the old house went streight from escrow to the new house (new home purchase was contengent on the sale of the old house. So the money never went into my account). At the time i was going through a business dispute, out of fear they will come for my house, and since i had very bad credit, the loan for the new house was taken out on stbxw name and the deed was written in her name. On yhe closing documents its shows that the amount from the sale of my old house was a Gift from fiance and my name there. I have maid all the payment since.. almost 5 years. The house is almost paid off now and with florida housing going so much up.. its worth alot of money....
