So I’ve been with my wife for 19 years, married for 14. We recently went through a week where it was “weird” and I thought at the time our marriage was broken and over. Many deep chats later we are better and talking more and she is making more of an effort (I was the one always initiating any type of intimacy; from holding hands, to a morning kiss hello, to sex).

BUT, I still don’t feel like the spark is there any more. I can’t picture myself long term with her anymore, I’m pulled towards finding myself again, being with other women, and living my best life. My wife doesn’t like to go out any more, I’m a very social person. Also, I feel a little cliche but I bought a nice Volvo last year, recently left my job to start my own business and I’ve changed my name to more of a nickname (think was called David but now insisting everyone call me Davey).

I still care for her, I want her to be happy, but I don’t think I want to be married anymore?

Can anyone relate?

Any advice?

Also considering some professional help (either solo or together).

Thank you
