Just a thought…if mediation fails in a divorce, can you tell your attorney to close the case and just live your life? Put yourself on child support and take care of your son, do some traditional wedding, have kids and move on with your new partner till ex wants to settle? Did anyone take this approach? What are the legal implications? Since Texas doesn’t recognize legal separation will this count as polygamy? Will the courts cook you for taking that approach?
