Have you check with your lawyer. Sometimes separation is a legal status and not a physical location. You might be able to move into your own room, get a new bank account, etc and stay in the same physical home (like renting a room).

What state? There are strategies for separation that don't require moving out of the house.

Do NOT leave your home. She can take a spare room or go stay with Chad or whatever, but the worst thing for you to do is leave.

Unless it’s life or death, I’m pretty sure you can remain in your home. Hopefully you have the spare space to sleep and have distance. Leaving a home voluntarily until the divorce is never a good idea cause the other can file for abandonment and any profit from the home sale if you decide to go that route will go to her. Also it won’t bode well for child custody. Good luck

Be prepared for her to file a DVO against you and have you kicked out of the home. Record and document EVERYTHING. My ex-wife did that after I filed for divorce (was living in the same home together after for about a month; then she decided it was more convenient for her for me to be removed. Filed under false claims, dropped the charges as soon as she was assured she’d get the house after the divorce was final. My lawyer never did anything about it because we were focused on getting 50/50 custody of the kids).

Don’t expect her to play fair; as of now you’re only sharing the house at her leisure.

If you're keeping the house ask her to leave.

Eventually she will have to.
