I am deeply moved by the many tragic stories I read here and on other subs, and it has moved me to share the truth about about bonding and attraction that I have learned through decades of being a psychologist and psychotherapist.

Evolutionary psychology has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that, for women, so called "romantic" love is conditional, transactional and transient. Therefore we can conclude that it is not love as we compare it to other forms of love, and certainly not as men experience love.

For most men love is unconditional, permanent and without the need for reciprocity except in the physical sence. Men bond physically.

Women are "programmed" to bond quickly but it also fades sooner. Men bond slowly but it is long lasting.

If I could give men any advice it would be to avoid bonding with or loving women in the prevailing sociological circumstances that we find ourselves in. Have fun sure, but don't commit to anyone.

My personal rules of engagement are:

Do not marry.

Do not have children.

Do not combine finances with anyone.

If anyone would like further information let me know.
