It’s been 8 months since she moved out. I am way better than I was a few months ago. No more constant tears, foodless days, or sleepless nights. Some days I feel happier than I have in years.

Despite all that, I am still grieving. I miss her. The memories flood back often. I get waves of grief when I see her in carpool or hear anything about her. I saw her Friday and it knocks me down for days. I’ll probably bawl my eyes out later. It’s ok. I can handle it.

The one thing that doesn’t get better is the constant rumination. I think about it endlessly. It’s not special to her, though. I’ve felt this way before. Should I just allow myself to ruminate until it goes away on its own?

One of the most painful and awkward feelings I have is the idea of ever learning and loving a new person. I don’t know that I have it in me. I don’t even know that I could sleep with someone else. Maybe time will heal that too.

Anyway, thanks for listening guys. Hope yall have a good Sunday
