It’s literally impossible to tell you anything of real substance with so little info.

I can tell you your worst outcome will be if you don’t file for divorce tomorrow, with a lawyers help. Everyday you don’t take action you will have a worse outcome down the road in my opinion.

You should have divorced 4 years ago. The longer you wait, the more likely you will be paying alimony. Usually, 5 years is the threshold.

I don't believe in separation because you have to pay spousal support and it doesn't account as alimony, by the time you get divorced alimony is a new wave of payments.

Since you are out you should file for divorce ASAP. Is not going to be that bad, but the current state of the events benefit the new guy because there is no pressure on him from her to get married and meanwhile he is enjoying her ass for free.

Also get a DNA test because you don't know if she cheated before.

Worst outcome depends on the state. In most alimony or spousal maintenance is calculated off of income inequality + length of marriage. However some of them will impede income if a spouse doesn't work. For instance in my state anyone able to work automatically makes minimum wage. So their "new" income is included in the calculations. Cheating also matters in some places and not in others, so unless you have documented the abuse and/or have witnesses it's worthless. Simply because it's a he said / she said situation.

You’re f-ing up bro. When you divorce, spousal support is based on length of marriage. You should have legally separated four years ago. You failed to do so. Now you’ve got four years of marriage added to the alimony calculator.
