Can someone try to explain to me how much truth there is behind the whole red pill “bad boy/nice guy” dynamic? What I mean by this is the story that women (not all, but it’s a stereotype in that ideology) tend to spend their younger years going after “bad boys”, and then once they’re older they will settle down with a “nice guy”. I couldn’t tell if this was more of a myth or what, but I’ve been seeing things, such as videos on instagram, where women talk about doing exactly this (for example, letting go of one’s “type” and going for a “good guy” because they want to get married). This is quite terrifying, I think, because I don’t want to be settled for. Thoughts?

Also, what even is a “bad boy”? It’s such a generic, broad term that’s never really explained. Does is refer to someone who does what they want to do, other peoples opinions be damned, or does it refer to literally being attracted to someone because they’ve been to prison? Obviously, I’d have a very different reaction to different answers. What are women attracted to in these “bad boys”?
