And now he's gone from "I have things about myself that I want to improve" to "the problem is other people and I'm angry at them all". All the while doing absolutely nothing to actually work on his problems (which he now believes are the fault of other people).

I never agreed with the right on social issues. I've always been pro-gay rights, pro-choice, pro-separation of church and state, pro-decriminalization of drug use (even though I don't drink, smoke or use drugs) and in favor of at least some regulations on gun ownership, even when I was Redpilled. I was an anti-feminist of sorts, but in reality, I was against women who called themselves feminists but were actually misandrists. However, I fell into libertarian capitalism due to all the financial videos and books I was reading at the time, hoping to get rich. What a fool I was. As crazy as this sounds, I feel as though these types of videos are somehow a gateway drug for the toxic manosphere. After all, guys who are looking to get rich quick are likely to consume all this other garbage too. But I'm not sure if it's causation or merely correlation.

It was mainly dating advice videos that led me to the Redpill.

Despite not agreeing with social conservatism, I voted almost exclusively for Republicans in the 2020 election, including Trump, which I consider one of the worst mistakes I ever made even though he lost. Most of the other Republicans I voted for won, but they would have won even if I hadn't voted for them. The election was actually one of the reasons I began second guessing my Redpill views. That and the fact that I just grew sick of consuming the content. Whether the Redpill was true or not, I just grew tired of all the hateful, narcissistic, psychopathic bullshit. Same old crap spouted over and over. So I stopped watching it and deleted all the Redpill stuff from my watch history on YouTube, which wasn't easy.

As I was detoxing from the Redpill, I also came across anti-capitalist videos from leftist channels which completely demolished my pro-capitalism viewpoints as well. I'm still reluctant to trust socialism, but I agree that capitalism is the root of most evil in this country and should be either highly regulated or destroyed outright.

It’s a nice little bonus gift when you fall down the red pill rabbit hole. The reactionary framing of everything makes you start to look at gay people differently, Obviously the red pill is misogynistic if it wasn’t it wouldn’t exist. And if your are easy to influence (sorry to shit on your ex-boyfriend) . It’s easy to take the rest of the conservative pill as gospel. I was lucky because I’m black and raised in the liberal household that loved Obama. I was resentful women. I don't know if it "encourages" it but the views are basically the same in a lot of cases. A lot of the stuff that people now call red pill is just stuff I was taught by my conservative mom as a child.

Not really. The redpill also advocates sleeping with a lot of women which is not a conservative value. That's more of a liberal value(free sex revolution). The redpill states all women are after your money. Therefore there are no benefits to marriage. Redpll does not advocate marriages. However conservatives do. Depending on how conversative-against Plan B. However if you sleep with a bunch of women within 3 dates; babies and std happen. So they're for birth control.

You could argue that the redpill is a liberal movement. I wouldn't. The redpill is for men who are lost because they either cannot get women or women have hurt them.

When I was RP, I never had any political affiliation. To this day, I don't. In fact, I think politics just divides people so they can be ruled easily and fools choose sides instead of basic humanity.

I am not anti-abortion, because that is a subjective matter and people have a right to choose. But it is complex if it's couples we're talking about.

I do think pay gap is a myth in modern day, however, it did exist once upon a time till about the 90's and the matter of pay gap is more complex than 75 cents on a dollar myth.

I think everyone should have basic human rights, as they are something we are born with and no one should be able to take them away. This does not just apply to trans or any one particular "group", but everyone. However, I also believe that your rights end where mine begin, and if you try to violate my human rights and my freedom of choice, you're asking for special privilege and there will be resistance against your hypocrisy.

The section that refer to themselves as RedPill and mean that only in regards to women, I don’t think so, but I do think they switch to GOP assuming they will be welcomed, thus the in-fighting, because many aren’t Christian nor “trad”. For that reason, I tend to see this group more in blue states, because of misandry not feminism/egalitarianism, and I mean before “RedPill”.

From what I read of the original RedPill, they were much less statist. Now, of the anti-women group, it’s a combination of social-rightism (mostly minus the Christian element) and economic-leftism (based on modern aisle terminology). I think this is why they are drawing in statistically higher percentages of certain demographics. The BlackPill types are even worse: “Sex is a right and the government should provide universal sex-workers or a sex-draft”, etc.

The political stuff has always been an undercurrent and was the main reason I left because I’ve always been pretty left leaning and I was looking for dating advice but todays red pill movement is overtly culturally right wing.
