I refer to this sort of pride as "base pride" because it does not devolve further than that. When you have nothing to be proud of yourself or don't recognize what you should be proud of in yourself or even feel insufficiently proud of yourself, the levels of pride devolve into the most base levels if a need for pride survives.

There is an easy way to debunk this argument. Women have traditionally been discouraged from entering such industries. Instead, they were encouraged to stay at home and do domestic duties, and raise a child. So, of course, men are disproportionately going to be the ones who are in power, who are inventing things, who are going to war, who are doing the labor intensive jobs and such. Now, this doesn't mean that women haven't invented things. They just haven't received the shine that they deserve (the invention of the WIFI being a good example).

Furthermore, this doesn't mean what women have been doing aren't of value either. Caring for a child and doing domestic duties like cooking, cleaning and taking care of a child has been incredibly difficult when we didn't have the modern technological innovations we have today (like dishwashers or washing machines). Women take great pain to hold a child for 9 months and raise them. Who do you think instilled the values of the so-called "men who built the world". It was women who did this. Nowadays, when women ARE encouraged to get a career and an education, they are doing just a well as men if not better (despite people claiming women weren't capable of such in the people). It's going in the other direction, with girls who are starting to outperform boys in education.

Now, physically intensive and military jobs are still dominated by men. This is because men tend to be (GENERALLY) physically stronger than women. However, that doesn't mean an individual woman isn't theoretically capable of doing such work. During ww2, most women did the labor-intensive jobs that men typically have done (since the men were drafted to war), and they were successful. An employer shouldn't hire someone based gender stereotypes on whether they are a woman or a man. They should hire someone who is capable of the job. And even if this results with more men in such jobs, then that's fine with me.

As for the military, although men tend to dominate such fields due to men tending to be physically stronger. Women still show exemplary skills in branches that aren't directly related to physical strength, like the Air Force, medical field and espionage. Many militaries across the world are mixed (like Israelis). Modern technology made pure physical strength less of a factor.

I personally find this hilarious, because without women cooking the food, making the clothes, and caring for the babies, men wouldn’t have had the free time to “build society.”

I mean, philosophers hated women so much that instead of acknowledging the fact that women have been catering to their fundamental sustenance needs, they derided those needs as base and animalistic. They became hermits and ascetics, even.

This shit right here. The males in RP are clearly, unequivocally, without a doubt, no questions asked, NOT the types of men who have built this world.

RP are the males that when they get around actual men, they call them "chads," their penises shrivel up and eventually retract back inside of their bodies until they are safe on the internet where they can be their true beta selves complaining, bemoaning, and saying all of the things that they couldn't dare say out loud in front of normal people.

These RP males today couldn't build society of they wanted to. They are too obsessed with their animalistic desires for sex to accomplish anything that could actually move the needle in society. They cant even build up a solid movement.

Even if men DID somehow build everything without women (which of course they didn't) why would that logically lead to "so women have to submit to men"? That's a leap.

Got to love how men made it all but impossible for women to participate in higher education or the workforce in all but the most menial of jobs, they couldn't file a patent, publish a paper or have their own bank accounts. I think it would be an interesting social experiment to see if women would naturally fill in those vacant jobs if all men suddenly went -poof-.

When it comes to arguments or debates that devolve into gender conflict--you'll often see people leverage sides against each other. For your ex to counter with an "all male" argument, your argument must have been something to do with women against men. Not saying your argument was bad, but without context it's really hard to understand what leads to these kinds of conversations.

Self improvement comes with accountability. Until people are willing to be accountable for their flaws and mistakes, they will never heal and fix them.

I think a lot of red pill is very much less healing and much more schadenfreude. Hurt men want some kind of release from the pain by reveling in the misery of others.

In a way, you could probably argue that men venting about their frustrations is a form of self-improvement. Even women vent about their problems.

But the key is that venting is just one step of many. You still have to move on past it. Can't languish in the rage stage forever.

I honestly think one of the biggest reasons red pill gets so much traction is because it's literally the only safe-space men have to vent out their frustrations without being judged by them.

Unfortunately, because it's the only space for it, there's not a healthy amount of moderation, and instead of healing--a lot of men just run in circles in the same step.

An example of a women's experience is that if a women is hurt by a man -- she can vent about how much she hates men, but then society generally rallies behind her to push her to heal. And at the end of the day she's not a man hater. Men don't have that support.

I am in the redpill side and I think that the argument that "men built the world" as a generic argument is bad and pointless. It is true that men built the world. But so what? It needs context to be an argument.

I dont think that women need to submit. I think that they shouldn't destroy social structures.
