I think also the unspoken truth is that misogyny is extremely common. Not just systemically, but per individual basis. In the sense that (similar to racism) unless a man has done the work in therapy to not be a misogynist, he will be a part of the problem whether or not he wants to be.

Also the whole argument that feminism is only valid if its "perfect" is just a way to discredit valid viewpoints. If you require a human or group to be perfect to listen to them, you never will because they will never measure up. And if they do, just move the goal posts 🥴

I have been arguing the spirit of this post recently in regards to extrajudicial murder by cop and protests that get out of hand.

These topics often align for me.

Biden and his pre-emptive scolding of property damage, as compared to his language about "wait and see, investigation, process of justice, blah blah..."

People are tired and angry. Women don't have patience for the patriarchy anymore after (checks notes) millenia; and fewer and fewer black people have no more patience to focus on peaceful protest after decades. Especially considering that feminism has been co-opted and contorted just as MLK was murdered and whitewashed.

Yeah, but now with FDS it's harder to "divide and conquer" and shut people up with tone policing. I'm more willing to engage on different platforms now and then casually drop a link to FDS.
