I was on a solo hike on Sunday, feeling positive and mindful. But there was a lingering thought about not looking super pretty with my hair pulled back, no makeup, comfortable but not cute outfit. Then I passed a guy that looked attractive to me, and I found myself looking back after him, and being more aware of my appearance perhaps not catching his attention.

Once I realized these thoughts my first response was to think "Ugh, you're so stupid. Stop thinking about men. You don't need one. Stop valuing yourself based on appearance. "

But then I caught myself again and thought, "No, you're not stupid. You're unlearning lies."

So that's the mantra I'm going to try to replace negative thoughts about myself in this process of leveling up.

"I'm unlearning lies."

Just wanted to share if this concept could help anyone else. There's so many lies about women and our value, as well as plenty of lies about men and what their intentions are. We have to retrain our brains I think to combat it.
