She is absolutely ridiculous for wanting money that will go into the “same” bank account. Good lord. Why do we do this to ourselves.

In case I’m being unclear, she needs new everything asap. A new bank account, a new place to live, a new job that isn’t indentured servitude to an entitled jerk, and after she’s done a little soul-searching to answer why she allowed this for years, she can consider a new man. The current one needs to go yesterday.

I know a 26 year old woman who fell into this with her forever boyfriend who is about 45 and a grandpa.

The girl is the same age as the guy's daughter 🤮. His mom gave him a plumbing company and the girl works there for free. They have been living together for years and years and he won't marry her.

As crazy as this seems, the girl came from a very rough family, and hasn't had many options in life. As stupid as it looks on her part, Mr. Gramps has really taken advantage of her predisposition in life. On top of that, she looks like an absolute goddess while he looks like your everyday old ass scrote.

Always build your financial security WAY out of reach from a man.

This is so stupid. Not sure what country they live in but lots of countries give benefits to small businesses. Every one of my friends whose parents own a company have been “employing” them since they were old enough to legally work. This way they get a bunch of tax write-offs. I would be furious if I were in this woman’s place not only because I didn’t have money, but also because I wouldn’t be contributing to my pension plan or other investment funds. My resume would also be blank for those years.
