I’ve found that what works best is simply expecting it anyway. Don’t even look at the bill. Don’t take out your wallet. If he asks to split then run away and block lmao. (Nah in all seriousness if he asks to split regardless, then just pay FOR YOUR OWN MEAL, not half, and never speak to him again) 🙃
