100%. Men have figured out (and basically been taught, I suppose) that acting dumb will excuse them from any wrongdoing.
I argue with my aunty about male behaviour all the time because she tries to excuse things by saying they don't understand, or (my personal favourite) "it's just how men are". Like sorry your son doesn't bother to remember your birthday, but it has nothing to do with his genitals.

I freaking hate "it's just a joke" so much. I call that misogynistic shit out every time. One man recently refused to return my tupperware after he promised to do so. His response was that I had to come to his house to pick it up. When I told him he was holding my tupperware ransom to manipulate me, his response was to say "It's not like I'm holding a gun to it or anything." 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩
Why the fuck would I find that "joke" funny? It just tells me that you think about these things regularly.

Honestly men pretend to cry about misandry but secretly love it: thinking men are so effing intellectually challenged that they need to be walked through things even toddlers can grasp is the most man hating shit I’ve ever come across. I respect men too much to believe they need to be told that it’s hurtful to when they do hurtful things. I always assume they know what they’re doing, because men are capable and responsible 🙃
But of course they love it when they’re treated like they have brain damage, as long as it means they get away with stuff.

Needed this today!! Have to see an ex-situationship at the gym almost every day and I just try to avoid him at all costs. He 'didn't want a relationship' but wanted everything else. Pick me days behind me, still have to deal with him but I'm an Ice Queen now and every time he tries to charm me I act like he doesn't exist in the world and avoid him and hardly acknowledge his existence. It seemed today like his 'feelings were hurt' by my cold shoulder when I openly engaged amiably with others ....and I almost caved and decided to have a conversation with him. To help his feelings. Damn my gentle nature! So needed this reminder. He just wants access again, doesn't care about me at all.

Had a guy promise me stuff then shrug when I get mad that he literally always flaked or did none of what he promised. He just shrugged and call me sensitive. Now I realize he just told me what I wanted to hear but never actually cared so... there was no follow up 🤷🏻♀️ duuuh. And I was trying to COMMUNICATE.
He 100% knew, they all act like that if they don't care about you, thats the best way to spot a fuckboy that pretends to care yet once you tell him about your period being too painful he runs into the woods cause you're "too much"

They'll play stupid though, all the time, to try to get out of things. Ive heard them play dumb "i don't know how to clean", "i don't know how to date" and "i don't know how to go grocery shopping" etc. Every normal adult man knows how to pick out an outfit, cook at least on a basic level, and they know how to clean...they just spew bs or do a half ass job on purpose to try to get out of it

I was in denial for a long time that my ex didn’t know better. It was his first relationship so I gave him a free pass for being derogatory and insulting. My best friend pointed out that he chooses to act that way and he’s proud of it. And my ex has lived long enough on this earth that he knows how to act properly.
What I sometimes say in my head: if he is doing an interview with HR you know he’s gonna be civil as hell. So why can’t he do the same for chu sis?

This is true. One of my exes pretended to be allergic to fish so that we could never get sushi after school. He just didn’t like fish and when I bought myself sushi, he ate nearly half because he wanted to try it again to make sure if he liked it or not. I’m glad I dropped his lying ass long ago.
