Some women look at me like I'm literally satan herself for suggesting keeping their options open after the first date. These women project their entire future with the guy after one good meeting, so it sounds like I'm suggesting cheating on the father of their children. That's the root of the issue, I believe

I firmly now believe in dating more than one man at a time, after having the same experience as your friends.

I tell the men upfront of course, and if they want me to commit they have to put a ring on my finger or I'm single. I will never be a girlfriend ever again, or at least while I'm trying this out. They don't like it, but they accept it and it's definitely changed how I get treated.

If a guy doesn't like it it's no loss to me - he's welcome to date someone else. I'll see how this strategy goes for a while and readjust later if needed.

Early in my teens I played online games and met 2 guys I liked them both and neither was my boyfriend we just flirted a lot online. I met one in RL once and it was only for a few minutes, the other we talked about meeting in RL and going to Disneyland together.

Well they each found out about one another slut shamed and made fun of things I told them in private and got the whole guild we were in to basically never speak to me again.

I was 19 one of these guys was in his late 20s the other early 20s. But boy oh boy did they make me feel so ashamed for the longest time. I would tell future boyfriends about it and usually got a response of "Well you were dishonest." Dishonest about what? Neither one of these scrotes asked me to be their girl friend. 🤷‍♀️

I love this idea in theory, but it's rare I find ONE guy that passes my criteria for a first date, let alone multiple men. Where are you multiple daters all meeting these swarms of eligible men? A girl wants to know.

Do it and don’t tell other men that you’re seeing other ppl. It’s none of their business until you’re committed. Keep a journal or some record so you don’t confuse yourself.

I honestly don't like this attitude. I'm not going to drag myself to their level to be equal to them.

If they are "talking" to other people then I'm no longer "talking" to them. Period.

Dating stage is just getting to know each other.
Maybe it's because there's a special word for it that people assume it's meant to be 'special'.

Did women really do this? Put their hope to one man after a first date? This is such an outdated views. I married 2 years ago. When I met my husband, I dated 4 different guys at the same times (having sex with non except my husband because he is patient enough to wait). My rule is no sex before six dates and it work pretty well at weeded out fuckboys.

Yeah but not for equality reasons. If he's got the money to date multiple women, cool, but why has he got the time? I guess if he's independently wealthy? Still don't see how or why he would have the drive.

I just don't think a man can actually pursue more than one woman. It's not the same for women because we aren't pursuing men. A man treating you like an option is the least sexy thing.
