He always prioritized his female friend over me even when I was visiting him from different continent where I paid everything. Later I found out he was emotionally abused by his parents and he always was so conscious of others opinions and how he looked to them. So though he wasn’t into fashion or makeup, he’d spend long time grooming just so that it doesn’t show his flaws when he’s in public. After going through his abuse, I sometimes shudder at that thought of guys I go on date could have been possibly emotionally abusing other girls in past just like my ex did to me. I wonder if lvm can be HVM.
