This is probably my biggest fear. Being trapped in a shitty relationship with a shitty partner who makes life awful.

I only read a few before noping out of there. But it’s interesting how parenthood has made these women anxious for their own parents to die. Talking about their parents being a burden, anticipating their inheritance...jeez, I guess my parents are lucky I’m a childless “spinster” who will care for them and love them and doesn’t actually want them to die.

I'm ALWAYS surprised at how many people seem to hate their spouses, parents and children. You'd think after so many years on the internet I'd know what I was getting into when I clicked that link.

It certainly explains why there are so many deeply unhappy, maladjusted people running around though

Some of these are absolutely horrifying. I’ve been there, and I’m so happy to (now) have a peaceful space for my child and myself.

I came really close to being baby trapped by an abusive rapist. If it weren't for abortion our lives would be fucked. I still grieve my potential baby, wishing there'd been a way I could have safely kept them, but even in some hypothetical fantasy version of events in which he miraculously left us alone (which he wouldn't have) they'd still have been saddled with his awful genes and I found that unconscionable.

We owe our children more than that. They deserve to have fathers who're a cut above the rest. Non-exemplary males don't deserve to reproduce.

I have an 8 yo with a LVM. We broke up in October but still live together due to COVID. I cant wait to get out of here. I think when it comes down to it, my son would choose to live with him. Idk what to do or how to feel about that.
