Green Flag Bait

I’ve noticed that some men use social media profiles like bait for women.

They curate their Instagram like an OLD profile.

Their content is made to be enticing to women...

It’s everything you’d want in a man.

But really it’s Green Flag Bait.

For example, we should seriously question a profile consisting of only:

  1. Attractive selfies.
  2. Pictures with puppies.
  3. Photos of him with other people’s babies or kids. i.e. pulling on the ovary heart strings.
  4. Images of friends getting married with comments about “looking for the one.”
  5. Him casually with something expensive like a car or watch. These are fake candid shots of him laughing, looking away from the camera, etc. These images look innocent but allow him to intentionally display his money.
  6. Pictures with their mother or sister with the caption #womensday.
  7. A profile completely void of any photos of ex girlfriends or other women even though it’s over a decade old.

None of these things are red flags on their own but the combination of them with a lack of other images is a concern.

I was vetting someone this week and I’m so grateful for all you ladies.

Everything he had posted was perfect and I was getting oddly suspicious. His Instagram consisted of nothing but what I listed above.
