Right. I hate how women are taught and expected to groom and preen themselves so well for a man's pleasure. A woman is expected to look, smell and taste good everywhere; she'd shave/wax everywhere, do her hair, makeup and nails, exfoliate, use nice and expensive lotions and perfumes, wear sexy underwear and pick out a nice outfit. All these would probably take at least an hour meanwhile a man would just hop into the shower for a few minutes, might use some Irish Spring shower gel if he feels like it, put on some axe body spray and call it a day. 10 minutes maximum.

I do my hair and makeup and shave because I enjoy how it looks but I draw the line at paying for waxing or buying lingerie. Men aren't worth it.

Lmao reminds me of my ex.

I put on some lingerie the night of my birthday to make myself feel sexy and because I thought he would enjoy it. He wasn’t appreciative of it at all, not the reaction I wanted.

Suffice it to say, we ended up breaking up a couple weeks ago, one of the main reasons being that we were physically incompatible. I thought physical incompatibility is something that I can overlook because I should be prioritizing making the relationship last long term, and beauty and physical attraction diminish over time.

It’s been hard to realize that I was unsatisfied and that my needs were unmet in the relationship. I’m still getting over this breakup tbh, although this was a good laugh and reminds me of another reason I won’t be missing him!
