Is this a religious thing? My ex husband didn’t go as far as throwing clothes out and replacing but he did HATE how i dressed and rather i be in floral dresses and high heels every day. He also despised me breastfeeding, he literally listed it as a reason for divorce. He is a pseudo conservative Christian who “saved himself for marriage”. Is it common in these kinds of men?

It’s just abuse and control. But I dunno seeing similar behaviour I experienced under tthe guise of religion has kinda triggered me that this is a thing.
