On online dating apps, I come across a staggering amount of men who could be much more attractive if they put just a bit of effort into their looks. It often boils down to basic things that could easily be changed with less than an hour a week and a couple dollars: good haircut, proper beard care, fashionable glasses, well fitting clothes, a skincare routine, dental work, etc. But no, these men don't want to put in the effort. They just want to complain about their boohoo no matches.

EVEN THE SLIGHEST BIT. You don't have to be a body builder! Just hit the gym like a normal healthy human being. Don't have a big dick? Get gud at oral. You don't have to be filthy fucking rich, just have a good/steady job that you care about and can support yourself and your partner. Like in what fucking universe is this shit hard.

Someone in a different subreddit called me a gold digger the other day for, get this, saying that in my thirties, I won't date a man who doesn't have a job and financial stability. What? I'm just supposed to date whatever broke loser comes my way? It's too much to ask for a man who, I don't know, works for a living?

"Gold digger" lol that is just asking for the basics in a man in his thirties. Clearly we 30 year old women are supposed to be grateful for just any male attention! Please. This is why I don't date down either. I worked hard to get where I am, so why can't a man do the same?
But of course we are supposed to be "nice" and "understanding" while men can reject us based off the slightest thing and not get shamed for it.

"Gold digger" is the go to insult for women who have high standards. Its supposed to make us backtrack, explain ourselves and scramble for male validation.
The term is supposed to trigger a Pavlovian response in women to feel ashamed and lower our standards so that broke, entitled LVM don't feel bad about themselves and keep believing the delusion that they shouldn't have to put in any effort to date or have sex with women. It is their biggest cope.
Pickmes fall for this all the time and the term "gold digger" has lost its meaning anyway, its so overused.

Yep, they seriously think that. Back in my OLD days, I had one scrote lose his mind at me because he thought that the woman should support the man "no matter what." Even when just starting to date, he believed that she should let him move in immediately and support his bullshit dreams or whatever. No mention of a job, his own income, whatever. I guess we're just supposed to be thankful for their presence?

It’s so crazy to me how normal it is for men to do the bare minimum in terms of their appearance and expect women to always look and dress to the nines.
I always look flawless and amazing because that’s who I am and love to be, but the amount of dates I’ve been on with men who look like they don’t deserve me is astounding. I’ll have my makeup and hair done with heels on and a beautiful dress on and a guy will be wearing khaki pants a t-shirt and some sneakers. Many of them tell me I look beautiful at one point into the date and in my head just like “thanks, wish I could say the same for you.”

Uuggghhh! The amount I’ve times I’ve gone out looking sophisticated chic, only to meet up with a guy in sneakers. I really do try to tell every man I know that nice clothes, hygiene and good cologne will take you far, but I rarely see it.

I started suffering from body dysmorphia in my last relationship and I could literally skip eating the entire day just to maintain the skinny appearance. Everyone around me thought I was just sick because I looked malnourished but my ex had the audacity to call me fat. Wonder why I became so insecure about my body, hmm. I still haven't recovered from it :(

Back when I didn't know any better I went on a park "date" with an ugly scrote who told me I was only a 6/10 because I looked thinner in my photos. This was in 2018 but it was still one of the triggers for the ed I developed in the beggining of this year which got me to a 15.6 BMI this summer (I'm on recovery now). You're not alone, sis 💗 May karma get them what they deserve.
