Some of us maybe get emotional for a few days out of the month, meanwhile men can snap at any moment over a chicken nugget. Biology is only used as an argument by these assclowns when it's convenient to them. The same ones who excuse rape are also the ones saying how "biologically" Blacks are closer to apes that Whites, gays are "biologically" wired to rape straight men when they get the chance, and straight men are "biologically" wired to like women with big breasts, small waists, long hair and round ass.

But when you counter any of their inane poppycock with "biologically, everything you said is horse shit without a shred of evidence", watch them accuse you of being sensitive and in denial over the truth.

My favorite hypocrisy moment was way back in high school. A female English teacher was telling us why gender roles are absurd, house chores should be divided, and the idea that men are more rational than women, or women are more emotional than men, is patently false. Cue all of the guys in the class YELLING at the top of their voices that men ARE more rational than women and shouldn't do any chores when they get home, even if their wives also have to go to work and come home tired. That's a great way to argue in favor of your rationality: by hitting the ceiling and hurling sexist insults. And this was one of those upper-middle-class intellectual schools. Those people can be the worst offenders in these situations, because they can't argue ignorance or upbringing. They're quite deliberately bigoted.

This crosses my mind a lot, too.

And hey, fun fact. Everyone is a slave to their hormones. Guys are just as much a slave to the effects of testosterone as women are to the effects of estrogen and progesterone. Arguably, testosterone makes people *more* of a public threat than estrogen and progesterone. It also makes people die faster as well as take bigger (and stupider) risks.

And there's the added downside that men aren't *looking* for this effect on their lives, so ime they're not able to mitigate it as well as women are.

You don't hear people going out in the streets and using those as justification for not having men in positions of power, though.
