This is why it’s so so soooo important not to marry bums. I did a divorce mediation in 2018. She put him through Pharm-D/PhD school at a pricey, reputable private university. Worked her ASS off with just a bachelor’s to put him through school. He graduated but was so much of a POS that even the pharmacy he did his internship at wouldn’t take him. So he sat at home and smoked weed. She had the son he begged for. This man sat at home, did a little part time Uber here and there then had the audacity to demand that she pay him to “babysit” their progeny. She also had to pay for all of the child’s milk, diapers, and daycare out of her own paycheck.

This ass demanded we go to trial if she wouldn’t agree to taking half of his 6 figure private student loan debt in the form of creative equitable distribution. And this was after she wanted to go in 50/50 initially, despite him not putting in diddly. She dealt with this for 13 whole years.

Do not marry men without trades or true careers. Do not marry lazy men. Honestly, if a man is without some kind of job for 6 months, I’d walk. If all he’s providing is 🍆 and warmth, get yourself a dildo and a heated blanket and do bad all by yourself.

The lawyers tried to make me split mine too, once they found we had been together for 15 years. But we were only married for one. I didn’t put in any money that year. I politely told them I would be keeping all my money since it was pre marriage. But if we were married they were going to to take 1/2! Smh. He blew threw his money and I saved mine but I would have suffered. It’s a damn shame.

That sounds awful. I'm so glad I had a female judge. My ex cried during the divorce and the judge looked me straight in (dry) eye and thanked me for putting my child first.

I’m so grateful that I didn’t marry or have children with any of the 🤡 Ive been in relationships with...My grandfather was very successful and he made it a stipulation that if he passed none of his 4 daughters would inherit until they turned 40. He knew how opportunistic and gold digging that men are so he figured that by 40 they would be wiser and better protected. I came into some money in the last 2 years and I live with such relief that none of my 🤡 exes have access to my money. Should I get married at this point, he has to have more money than me and we are doing an ironclad prenup.
