I know a girl 100% like this! She is constantly beefing with the ex that got cheated on and refers to her LVM boyfriend as "husband" despite being a permanent girlfriend of 5 years who already got knocked up 🤣🤣 She has a whole ass baby and a home with him and genuinely believes he will still propose. I try to tell so many women this, they just don't believe me.

Prime example: My mother-in-law was off and on with a married man for over 20 years. His wife died so my MIL moved into HIS house a few months after his wife's passing. I told my hubs his mom is playing herself, that he is just allowing her to move in because he needs someone to cook, clean, etc and I told him to tell his mother to KEEP HER HOUSE! Within 2 years she was back home because (as he told her) he found his old high school girlfriend on Facebook (mind you, these people are in their 70s) and realized he still has feelings for her! LOL I died! His mom was so upset but all I kept thinking was "What did you expect Mom??? The man cheated on his wife, he's a known liar and you allowed yourself to be his doormat!"

I had a friend whose husband fooled around with one of her close friends and continued a "relationship" with this woman while they were still married. This lasted for two years, possibly more.

Anyway, the mistress' husband died. YES, they were both married and she had a husband who was withering away from brain cancer whom she was openly cheating on. A few months after his funeral, my friend's husband eventually left her to go cheat with some other married woman. (He attended the funeral, BTW.)

I guess the whole "available" thing wasn't his type.

Edit: I bet if you ask him why he didn't stay with the first mistress, he would say "She cheated with me while her husband was dying. Who's to say she wouldn't do the same to me?"

The best case scenario (a rarity) is that you stay together, but you will always be viewed as "The one he cheated on his GF or wife with." aka not a good person.

Worst case scenario (the norm) you realize how painful it is to be cheated on because he's going to. Not if, when.

Sighs. Definitely been this clown. Wasn’t cool at all. Not going back to that pattern, though. I admit to my vulnerability at the time and it felt good to feel wanted and special after being in a relationship with someone that left me feeling undesirable and and like I was nothing (he literally told me I was unattractive because of my surgery scars and because I don’t shave all the time and called me a miserable little nobody.)

Never accept a relationship born this way, but do acknowledge those feelings of loneliness, in attractiveness, neediness, desperation, frustration, and pain. If you don’t, they will eat at you and have you willingly playing the fool.

Someone very ignorant, someone I thought I knew, it doesn’t take much these days with internet and all sorts of information at your fingertips... I hate when an otherwise intelligent man plays stupid... he could have very easily educated himself on commonalities of pregnancy and post pregnancy he chose not to and I realize it’s because he didn’t care to.. I am not calling him a monster.. yet, but he’s definitely not who I thought he was! I am dealing with a lot... I feel therapy is worth a shot.

Lol my ex is now with the girl he cheated on me and his earlier ex with. When we were together he told me he has never and would never cheat. I found out all this after the fact and now he's telling the new girl he wanted her all along despite her always being available to him. I feel so bad for her.

My bff was with a guy for a few years. They had a baby and the guy seems like a good guy. Although they weren’t talking marriage my friend was cool with that. Bad divorces can make you swear off getting married again. Anyway turns out he was cheating and ramped up the affair right before Christmas. He left the day after Christmas, the day after telling her kids that he was more of a father to them because of all the things he did for them that their own father didn’t do. Apparently the side chick had known him for years but never had any interest until she started hearing how he was taking care of my friend, their child and her children. Side chick was struggling financially and thought this was the answer to her prayers. For a bit it was, until when they started having problems. He was starting to lose his shine and she cheated. He turned to my friend for comfort. Yeah she should have known better, but she thought maybe he had realized he made a mistake. So side chick got cheated on with the same woman he cheated on with her. It was a total cluster f^ck. But karma was served to each of them.

THis! My friend met this guy at work and he told her he had a girlfriend. He was in a long-distance relationship.

My friend lives in a different state than him. They kept talking even though he has a girlfriend. I never approved of him and advised her to leave him alone. I tried letting her know by continuing talking to him, he was emotionally cheating on his girlfriend with her and I couldn't believe how she thought that was okay. But she has the pickmesha mentality of 'he's unhappy with her but he'll be happy with me'.

At the end of last year, he told her he had to give his relationship one good try and wouldn't continue trying with her. Again, this was completely on his terms. It wasn't like she wised up and stopped talking to him.

Fast forward less than two months later, she told me they are now boyfriend and girlfriend. I was livid! I asked her why she thinks he wouldn't do that to her in the future especially they are also doing long distance now.

She said because he was unhappy for a year and didn't want to hurt his ex's feelings.

OMG cry me a freaking river, dude. Poor you. I honestly don't know how to be friends with her after this.
