What rATiOnAL MaLe LoGiC part of their brains makes them reach these conclusions?
Maybe because they are fundamentally lazy (lvm will go for minimal effort for most things in their life), so then they project this mentality on this woman. They think, wow, if Iooked this good, I would never put in the effort to learn how to code because I can get by with my looks. So they can't imagine her putting in the effort either.

What is “male logic”?? does it mean limp dick? Because I hear “men are logical” so often that I figure it must refer to something we see common aka porn induced limp dick 😂

Projection. Because they can't do more than type in Hello World. This is common joke among people who start programming, ironically, people who actually understand programming won't make these "jokes", simply because they don't have a time for this.

lmao so true

You see, men have two brains. And those with a small penis have the unfortunate side effect of a very, very small second brain. All interactions with women are conducted through this second brain and leads to very embarrassing moments for the men in question.

It’s funny how internalized misogyny led me to similar conclusions when I was a pick me: there’s no way a woman can be smart and beautiful at once. I don’t mean to be put emphasis on looks but often times beauty is seen as another way to demean women. You have to choose one. They’re so many gorgeous women who are brilliant and men seem to loathe it.

Tech dudes are a special breed of ass.
They could have anything they want if they would just be decent but...no.

He wanted his friends to think you were too stupid to do it yourself. He probably realized you were smarter than him and was like "Oh shit I better do something before they find out." Men do that a lot. Lie about women to make themselves look better.
[–]yolosunshineFDS Newbie8 points9 points10 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
The projection is out of control.
If you want to see if a guy’s an ass you can say you’re taking a hiatus from dating and sex, just in general.
The ones that aren’t creepy obsessed will ghost. The others take work.

If she is smart and beautiful, they feel so incredibly tiny and insecure compared to her, that they just need to make her smaller.
[–]XMochiixMochiiXFDS Newbie6 points7 points8 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Literally, they can't handle a female who is intelligent and gorgeous. So instead they attempt to bring her down to a level where they can feel superior over her.

There may be an argument for you can't be smart/successful and a pickme at once. Catering to LV men takes up too much time and energy for no ROI.

I'm in the IT field doing as a DBA. This field is honestly super toxic. I love programming especially SQL and database stuff. I get paid 10k less then my male counter part who has the same title as me and has worked the same amount of time as I do. Him and I have discussed it before and he agrees I do more work. Even with my SQL skills and the fact I spend ALL my working time in it (creating reports etc), he gets to do the cooler more intense stuff. He is trusted more then be and it is clear as day. The fucking Christmas gift was a gift card (its a start up) I got 100 and he got 150.
Anyways, thanks for coming to my tedtalk.

I used to be a dev, but am now an analyst - I was and am good at what I do, and have lots of experience both in IT, and in the sector in which I work.
My past 3 weeks have been a time waste of note, trying to convince a group of bombastic dumbasses that I picked up an error in the test cycle, and that their system is breaking. I am talking late night, 20:00 Teams meeting levels of escalation from my side.
One idiot even went as far as 'diplomatically' stating that 'he is not on the same page as me that there have been errors on the system for the past 3 weeks'.
Shit went from 'not on the same page' to 'oh fuck, we haven't been able to process certain sales for a whole day' in about 8 hours after going into Production...
[–]numbers213FDS Newbie3 points4 points5 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Oh man I love that. My personal fav for me is when I'm working with my coworker and we find a bug in the system and it's HIM who found it. Not us. Just him. He always includes me in the solution part whether our boss says so or not because my coworker is a good person. But it still drives me up a wall

I can't believe this. This is one of my fears about doing a comp sci major in uni so I decided not to do it.

same and i had a woman teacher back at school, who was supportive of me, a girl, going to study programming, but i decided not to pursue it, because to be honest, majority of men working in IT are weirdos neckbeards, who are sexist and misogynistic and guess what, my sister confirmed all of this, when she worked in IT.

Lol girl went to Amherst and they're trying to diminish her accomplishments because she's also beautiful and a model. Willing to bet none of those dudes could get into Amherst lmao. Must be hard that they can't be beautiful and smart like so many women are lol
Also, when men are like "who cares if she did xyz" bitch if you don't care then don't look at the posts, don't comment. How sad does your life have to be that you need to comment on something you don't even care about lmaoooo
[–]snootdidanootFDS Newbie17 points18 points19 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Right! They say they care so little yet they take the time to think about what theyre going to say, type it, send it?! Why waste time on something you dont even care about? Makes 0 sense ..
[–]ArcaiiFDS Newbie7 points8 points9 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Because they care, but not in a positive way. When a man says that, he means he doesn't like that she's successful. They want to let the world know and think that women's accomplishments are a waste of time and either make us feel bad in an effort to lower our self esteem (negging) or to hopefully have other women think they shouldn't pursue their goals because men don't like it. Since they still think everything we do is for them.

“What a waste!” A waste of what, exactly? What’s being wasted on this scenario? Not her intelligence, she got a degree with it. Not her looks; she monetizing that aspect her of herself in modeling. What even are these LVMs talking about? She’s a queen. 👑

[–]anotherdamnloserFDS Newbie17 points18 points19 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Wow... and men complain about US? No respect. Nothing a woman can do will ever be “right” by these guys.
Did he really say "what a waste?" What? A waste of what? How is learning a skill and using your brain a waste? I don't even understand that. Waste of a woman because you think women should spend their time on nothing other than their families and waste away without using their god given gifts in the only life they get? How is being successful a WASTE?

I’m very successful in a heavily male dominated field and I often hide my career as a pro ballet dancer and theatre. I used to get unwelcome remarks about how “feminine” and “better suited” for me that is.
I’ve been interviewing men for the last few years and I’ve been in situations where I’d ask a question and the guy would reply to my male coworker sitting next to me, as if I wasn’t there or I couldn’t possibly comprehend what he’s talking about. I’ve also had complaints from junior male employees that my feedback is too assertive and that I should leave technical things to them. 🙄🙄
It gets me through the days knowing I make way more $$ than them tho. 😂

[–]1Here4BachFDS STRATEGY COACH3 points4 points5 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Men are very one track minded so they think women are too. It’s impossible for them to conceive that a woman (especially a beautiful woman) could be as good as—or ever better—than them at coding
[–]poison_snaccFDS Newbie2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
Can someone explain “hello world”? What is that referring to?
[–]madonna_whorecomplexFDS Apprentice3 points4 points5 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I'm not in the tech but from what I know; It's a joke between coders to make fun of posers/beginners who has no idea about programming besides outputting "hello world"; a simple message to illustrate how the process of coding works. And this is like a tradition that every programmer seem to go through as a beginner. So they're making fun of her hypothetical little amount of knowldege.
