Is it weird that I feel optimistic about the fact that more women(and a few young men) are refusing to buy into libfem and regular patriarchal bullshit? I feel like I’ve heard more people talk about how terrible p*rnography is lately. This could be entirely because of an echo chamber but I feel like this discourse against libfem stuff didn’t even exist on the internet vastly enough to be discovered a couple of years ago.

Libfem(which is just patriarchy in pink) peaked with the whole no kink shaming and giving internalised misogyny an empowering angle with feminist buzzwords and now more women are recognising the bullshit. I discovered radical feminism after googling body neutrality because I was so tired of the “body positivity” and found it sickening that it is essentially a movement trying to make sure that every body impresses the male gaze by hyper-sexualising women of all sizes and brands are using “larger women” to pretend their product is suddenly feminist. And that was the first time I read things written by women who recognised the hollowness of libfem mantras. I feel like more and more women are getting tired of having to embrace the misogyny and not being allowed to criticise it and I am happy that that is happening.

happy to see someone who looks about my age who doesn't defend porn and acknowledges the issues with the porn industry. i'm 16 and boys my age would rather watch hardcore porn than maintain a relationship with a real girl. terrible how pornhub contributed to ruining an entire generation of boys by exposing them to porn. i'll never get over that.

How.... is porn so fucking normalized in society when things like this keep happening to underage girls and women. This is NOT the first time I've heard Pornhub doing shit like this. There was a really popular "channel" on the site called Girls Do Porn (turned out to be a sex trafficking operation) and they basically lied and forced these women into having sex on camera and lied about how the videos would be distributed. Yea, I actually follow this one woman on TikTok who is a stripper and unlike everyone else she talks about how exploited she is, how she’s been abused, drugged, how she started when she was a literal child and how now she’s stuck and can’t get out. I’m so tired of how messed up the ENTIRE sex industry is and no one seems to acknowledge it.
