I have a job that occasionally requires the team to build wooden supports or pedestals. Today, one of the guys spent a few minutes showing me the basics of the tools we were using, and I went on to spend the day building these pedestals no biggie. I was using an air compressor + brad nailer, impact driver, random orbital sander, putty and knife. Was my first one amazing? No- but each one after that was near perfect after I practiced once.

Of course another guy that arrives later in the day comes out, sees me working, goes, "Wow- did you do all of this??" and I smiled and dumb foxed, "What, like it's hard?" right back and all he could do was shrug because IT'S NOT HARD. I've also used jigsaws, circular saws, and oscillating multi tools. None of them are difficult to use after about 10 minutes of practice on scrap material.

Learn to do these things for yourself so YOU can wall mount that TV, and not wait on a man to do it for you. Not a friend, relative, or a stranger through something like taskrabbit, which could potentially put you and your household at risk. Obviously, if you have a HVM that can do these things, it makes sense to let him do it, but otherwise... boss up, love.
