YOu mean the table I clean every night after cooking a whole meal for us? While you can't be disturbed from your MBA studies until food is ready? Yet we make the same salary and split all expenses down the middle, but I do all the unpaid labor on top of this? YOu get to pull the plug in the middle of me vacuuming because you have a weekend call with your classmate and have the audacity to scream at me? instead of offering to vacuum yourself at a later time??? omg, this is so triggering.

I got a text the other day from a friend who sent me a video of her celebrating that her boyfriend (36m) finally had the decency to put one article of clothing in the hamper. She was so proud of him. I gotta admit sometimes this sub reminds me to be a better wife. My husband does most of the housework and supports us both as I struggle with chronic pain most days, but still I know I could do more. And ask for less praise for the bare minimum.

Sometimes it’s better when men don’t do the dishes. My brother literally threw the entire pile of silverware in the drawer on top of the silverware tray like it wasn’t there... so I still had to spend 5 minutes sorting through forks, knives, and spoons, putting them in the right place.

My husband has his issues but he has stellar hygiene and does household chores without asking. He also has a good job and is the sole provider in the home right now until I can get back to work (which he doesn't bitch and moan about).
