I never understood that argument.

Not sleeping with someone else's significant other is not "loyalty", it is basic courtesy. In order to live in a civilized society you need to be able to show courtesy towards other people, regardless of whether or not you personally know them. It is why we do not cut in lines or talk on the phone when we go to the movies.

Anyone who thinks that they do not have to be respectful towards strangers is not fit to live in a civilized society.

It is an act of aggression to sleep with a married person.

That's why many people sleep with the partner of someone they don't like.

The ultimate responsibility is on the cheating partner, but so say that someone who sleeps with a married person is on neutral ground is a lie.

We all know the classic “If he cheats with you, he’ll cheat on you” and it is absolutely correct since it requires a certain character to cheat on someone and they won’t change who they are just for you. Anyone who knowingly sleeps with someone who is in a committed relationship with someone else is committing an unethical act. You are violating your own integrity, completely separate from your perspective on the damage done to the original relationship.

The only women that get involved with taken men either like the drama, believe she is “better” somehow than the wife/gf, or believe his lies about how terrible his partner is (and it is always a sob story from the man yet he will NEVER leave his main woman, usually the wife). No woman gets involved just for sex or just because “he was nearby and it sort of happened”. If she just wanted sex she could sleep with a single guy! I think in general once you are in a relationship that is when magically everyone wants to ask you out (ask me how I know); you have some sort of weird energy radiating out that makes everyone suddenly flirt with you. But once you say “I have a bf/gf” that should be the end of it. I think lots of women like the chase of trying to sleep with a taken man- not like it’s hard but still...

The logic behind this thinking is 1.) to excuse wrong behavior of women when it benefits men ("the mistress role is ok") and 2.) to isolate women from each other to make them easier to manipulate in their respective positions.

It’s a male-centric line of thinking. “You only have courtesy towards those you’re attracted to or interest in”. The pickmes and their men only have courtesy for those they’re interested in.

For a pick me, there is no “benefit” in being courteous or considerate towards another woman because they view you as competition for the man.

I agree with you. I find it deplorable when supposed feminists say this. Actually, that woman does owe the girlfriend/wife/what ever respect. I personally have never been even remotely interested in someone who's taken. They're taken and it's no longer an option.

My ex boyfriend had a coworker who was probably what you call a "pick me". She had a boyfriend when she met my ex and she tried very overtly to sabotage us, even once we got back together... she was trying to message him about "work" and it was a very obvious ploy. I've even told my best guy friend and he thought she was nuts, and all the women I'm friends with were just like "she'll do the same to your ex so dont worry". And I dont like to generally trash women but she was basically a major downgrade from me and my ex knew it. I know him well enough to know he could never last with her. He needs to look good via his woman and she wont offer that, and she wants to go back to school for ages and he even expressed to me he found my career appealing because it pays well and is so flexible.

Women who behave that way are usually aware that theyre less appealing than the gf/wife. It's like a game to them. The second I saw my ex actually letting her get in his head, and belittle me by bringing her up and almost comparing how reactive she was to him vs me, I tapped out. I dont need an emotionally unstable/black pit of a man. Funnily enough, when my ex told me about his ex gf before me, I saw her perspective and actually empathized with her and for some reason believed her despite not even knowing her. The things he was telling me didnt add up.

Women who willingly are affair partners are shitty people I don’t think anyone is in disagreement over that but she had no commitment to you. You need to be angry with and blame the person who betrayed you, i.e, hold your man accountable for his actions.

Point for me is that the other woman may not even know about the wife or she might be also being played. The person who you should be pissed at if they're cheating is the cheater. the point is a bunch of women blame the other woman when they should be more mad at their dishonest man who broke their oath to them.

A man in a relationship came onto me multiple times and I saw him on OLD sites, I want to tell his significant other but I can’t find out who she is. He’s got all his social media locked down, obviously so he can keep up his serial cheating.
