These are important guidelines, and I wish I had this guidance years ago. I’ve had a problem with creating fantasies, to the point where I had close people say to me “he was my favorite fake relationship you ever had.” It was bad. Getting off social media helped a lot.

Back in my pickme days I would create stories about a dude in my head, play out fantasy scenarios and ignore red flags so I could continue the fantasy. Never again!

First one is important in the work place, too. Especially as more women enter influential roles, don't judge men based on potential. This already happens and they already get jobs for no good reason because of it.

I haven't had a crush or daydreamed on a man since I started taking things they do or say as if they're always intentional. No benefit of the doubt, no wondering "what if (this)?" Most liberated I've ever felt.
